About PAHS

Mission

Peoria Accelerated High School will prepare students for the future by providing them with
a foundation for continuous learning. In pursuit of this mission, the faculty, staff, and
administration will create an environment of mutual respect, openness, and trust. PAHS will
teach students to enjoy responsibility and model enthusiasm for thinking, learning, and
doing. Students will benefit from a curriculum that provides them with a broad range of exit
skills for post-secondary education and the workplace.

Academic Goals

1. To increase student academic achievement and improve standardized test scores. To meet and exceed state-developed curriculum standards.

2. To immerse our students in technology, which will ensure that our students will graduate with both the high-quality academic and the technological skills, needed to compete and succeed in post-secondary education and the workplace.
