Marcus Englund, school leader/principal
Marcus Englund earned his bachelor's degree from Huron University (Huron, SD) and master's degree from Northern Arizona University. Mr. Englund has held the positions of assistant school leader, athletic director, social studies department chair, teacher and coach. He has held these positions at PAHS, Estrella High School (Avondale, AZ), and St. Michael High School (Window Rock, AZ). He has been the principal at PAHS since 2006.

James Sigman, assistant school leader
James Sigman is originally from the Chicago area and moved to Arizona in December of 2001. In 2003 He began his teaching career at Estrella High School in Avondale where he taught world history and geography. | Lisa Nahrgang, curriculum coach
Lisa Nahrgang obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from Western Montana College of the University of Montana in 1992 and recently, she earned her Master of Science degree in educational leadership from Arizona State University.
Nahrgang's experiences consist of teaching math and science for more than 12 years and mentoring teachers for the last six of those years. At PAHS, she is primarily responsible for mentoring teachers to align their curriculum to the Arizona state standards and provide strategies and best practices in the classroom. In addition, she is also the sophomore liaison. This position helps to ensure that sophomores are scheduled for the appropriate classes in an effort to prepare them for the AIMS exit exams.
