Peoria Accelerated High School follows the Positive Behavior Intervention & Supports (PBIS) model. PBIS sets consistent expectations for all PAHS students, in all school settings. We expect all students, staff, and stakeholders to demonstrate the P.R.I.D.E. motto. Research has indicated that consistent school-wide implementation of PBIS may improve attendance and school engagement, increase student achievement, reduce dropout rates and promote a positive school culture both for students and staff (Teaching Tolerance, 2008).
