What is FAFSA?
FAFSA is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. This form determines a student's eligibility for financial aid. If a student qualifies for financial aid such as for a federal grant, loan, or work-study programs, this money will be applied to your tuition, fees, and room! Should I apply for FAFSA? If you are planning to enroll in a community college, university, or trade school, you need to apply. Why should I apply for FAFSA? Because it is an EASY process, it is FAST, and you probably qualify! |
When can I apply?
If you are planning to start college in the 21-22 school year, the FAFSA application for that year opens on October 1st, 2020. The sooner you apply, the better! How much can I receive? FAFSA Friday is one Friday out of the block in which we have a FAFSA representative that will answer questions and aid students and families with their FAFSA application. We encourage students that are planning on going to college, university, or trade school to attend. Please check out Tiny's Calendar for dates, times, and links for this event.
