I graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Sustainability and Business. While at ASU, I interned for a local activist, Monika Woolsey, owner of Hip Veggies and worked with the community. Working with her I volunteered for several Downtown Phoenix events as well as the Cesar Chavez Community School in South Phoenix to build a garden for students to help incorporate math and science skills into their curriculum. Doing so, we were able to help inform the community about food deserts here in Arizona, and hopefully inspire the students and residents see the fun and benefits of growing their own food. Here at PAHS, not only do I work in the math department, I also have taught the College and Career Readiness course. On my free time I like to go on hikes and camp with family and friends and when there's time, travel and go scuba diving!
