During Block 3, 16 students participated in the PAHS-Trine University Dual Enrollment program. Students attended a college-level psychology class and earned high school elective and college credit at the same time.
Peoria Accelerated is excited to announce that English 101 will be offered as a dual enrollment class for Block 4. Students who earn a C or higher will receive college credit as well as an English or elective credit at PAHS. Interested students must be a junior or senior, pass all Block 3 classes with a C or higher, have good attendance and no discipline issues. College FUNding Night
Dear PAHS Families: If you want to go to college or trade school but are low on funds, then College FUNDing Night is for YOU! Peoria Accelerated High School, would like to invite all graduates and their parents/guardians to our first College Financial Aid Night. This is an exciting opportunity for you to learn about and apply for the FASFA (Free Application for Student Aid). The FASFA form is essential in the process of obtaining financial aid for college. Light refreshments will be served. The application process will be thoroughly reviewed during the Financial Aid Workshop. Additionally, the Workshop will provide tips on how to locate alternative routes for financial aid. To complete the application please bring either your or your parent’s 2013 federal income tax return or W-2s, as well as any other records of money earned. The meeting will be held Tuesday, March 11th, 2014, will begin promptly at 5:30 p.m. and end by 7:00 p.m. Financial Aid representatives from Arizona colleges will be present to answer questions and assist with the application process.
