PAHS Students saved 81 lives in the first of four Blood Drives this school year. Donations were up from last year with 27 successful donations. Approximately half of all blood donations come from high school students, so thank you to everyone who participated. You've been a hero!

Peoria Accelerated's Key Club is hosting our 5th annual Penny Wars to raise money to help Eliminate neonatal tetanus. Through student and staff involvement, our Penny Wars have raised over $5000, which has been donated to the Eliminate Foundation. You, too, can contribute. For less than $2, your donation will purchase the inoculation that will prevent a mother and her babies from this often fatal disease. To donate bring your spare change, bills, or checks to the PAHS office.
Parent Teacher Conference/Open House will be a chance for parents and guardians to come meet students teachers and find out grades in block 1 classes. A free meal will be provided for the first 50 families.
Any person wanting to come tour the campus is also welcome to attend. 5th Period class will be released at 5:00PM today only. |
