On Friday May 6, the the PAHS Science Department, lead by Ms. Fortino and Ms. Ramirez took 35 students from our science classes on a Field Trip to the Wildlife Zoo, Aquarium & Safari Park in Litchfield Park, AZ. Students spent the morning experiencing the many unique animals and activities that they have to offer. Students from Ms. Fortino's Biological Anthropology class also had the opportunity to do an extra credit primate observation activity. Students experienced several fun activities, such as the Safari tram where they encountered wild animals from Africa in an open environment, and others enjoyed the Log Flume ride, the Sky ride and the African Safari train. In the Aquarium students experienced the many amazing forms of life in our vast oceans, lakes and rivers. Several students even fed the sting rays at the "Sting Ray Encounter"! We capped off the experience with lunch back at PAHS.
