I am an Arizona native, I have been teaching for 17 years in special education. I have been with PAHS for 6 years as the Special Education Coordinator. I have been married for 18 years and I am a father of 2. My daughter is a freshman in college and my son is a junior in high school. In my free time I coach Football and Wrestling at a local high school. I enjoy hunting and fishing with my two children The study Skills classroom is a two pronged setting. First it acts as a tutorial setting, to help student with work from other classes. They can bring in homework, projects, assignments and assessments to get the extra assistance they may need. Second it provides opportunity to complete a computer based class during that time as well. Each student will receive 1 A+ class during each block. Full credit will be given for that class at its completion. The student will also receive elective credit for the Study Skills Class as well. This class is designed to be a support system for student on IEPs or 504s.
